Hey, I bought ETS 2 recently and it's a great game. I've been trying to figure out how to park trailers properly, but I'm still confused. No one seems to have clear guides or videos on this topic, especially on YouTube. Could you help me understand the process better? I want to avoid making mistakes and improve my skills. Thanks!

You just hit enter instead of trying to park. Also, lifting your head out of the window aids in parking or reversing.

They prefer reversing in a third-person perspective with just two rear wheels rather than the more complex options available.

Drive in the opposite direction you wish for the trailer. Use the rear of the trailer to control its movement.

You just check your reflection... When you rotate left, the trailer moves right and vice versa, as @AlwaysFSX clarified. Wishing you success!

The details are understandable, but the adjustment direction appears inconsistent. It seems this applies in various situations or when the truck and trailer aren't perfectly aligned. Sometimes the trailer behaves unpredictably even with correct inputs. Probably just a matter of practice. I managed to see a few trailers today.

What’s the point of backing it up? You could avoid the hassle, but lose 40xp if you’re too close. Unless it supports ETS 2 multiplayer, you’ll need to park it.

I enjoy simulators a lot. I prefer playing them with realistic details. That's why I want to park, even if it means making a small mistake by pressing enter. I also follow proper signals and drive within the speed limit, along with other good practices. I'm getting better at reversing in the cockpit now. I managed to park successfully in about four out of five jobs I tried yesterday.
