I understand you prefer Ethernet over Wi-Fi for your PC. Given the distance of about 80 feet between your router and the device, a wired connection might be more reliable. Weighing the pros and cons will help decide if it’s worth investing in a long Ethernet cable.

It varies. For low latency and reliable performance, use wired connections. For most other cases, WiFi works fine.

I usually choose Ethernet for reliability. It offers better consistency. Wi-Fi can be affected by walls, windows, and even ceilings, which might slow things down. The trade-off depends on your requirements—if you're willing to accept higher latency and slower speeds, it's worth it.
