Hey there, I just moved to an AMD board after spending ten years on Intel. I’ve got some issues that are getting me a bit frustrated. The biggest problem is the Ethernet speed. On my old Asus Z170-I Pro Gaming board, I could achieve full 1Gbps duplex, but now with the new Asus ROG Strix B550-I GAMING board, it’s only 10Mbps. The cable seems fine, and I’ve changed ports on the router and tried different duplex settings, but it still only connects at 10Mbps full duplex. It’s a 15-meter cable, so changing it isn’t an option. Any tips would be super helpful!

Drivers are now available straight from the ASUS site and even worked on updating via Intel's page (the Intel I225V Ethernet chip). I think you're referring to AMD chipset and Intel LAN drivers on your motherboard as well. Ready, but waiting to restart to check if it helps.

Attempt to launch Ubuntu and perform a speed test. This will help identify if the issue lies with the hardware or Windows.

Navigate to the adapter settings for the NIC, select the Advanced option. The value shown next to "Speed/Duplex" indicates the chosen configuration.

Attempting to set up a connection at 1000 Mbps full duplex could result in performance limitations or errors depending on network capacity and device compatibility.
