Ethernet speed limited to 100 Mbps until I disconnect and reconnect it
Is there any reason behind this behavior? When I download, it often feels slow. After disconnecting and reconnecting my Ethernet cable, it instantly returns to the expected speed of 600 Mbps. Could you help explain what’s causing this change? Thank you.
Iffy cable seems likely. 100Mbps works with just the center pairs, while gigabit requires all four pairs.
