Hey there, I’ve faced a similar situation. My internet connection kept getting limited, and the troubleshooting steps didn’t resolve the issue. Restarting the router helped yesterday, but now it’s happening again—especially when I power on my PC early in the morning. I’ve tried several fixes: restarted the network card, updated BIOS, reinstalled drivers, ran Windows updates, adjusted IP settings manually, and used CMD commands like flush/renew. Still nothing works. I think there might be a hardware problem. My power went out last week and I shut down my PC, but this has happened multiple times before on other boards. This model (X470) I bought in April has never had such issues before. I’m really stuck and need some guidance.

I would like to return the motherboard, but before that, do you have any other computers or laptops available to check if the problem persists?

Likely just require reaching out to your ISP to reset the issue on their side.

It would be a disaster without my PC, and only me would be impacted.

Only my PC was impacted; the rest worked fine. I have two switches, an Xbox One, two PCs, and two phones all connected to Wi-Fi without any problems.

Another case I've dealt with is when just one laptop remained functional following a DDoS assault, requiring a full reset of the system.

Have you experimented with another cable for the connection? It might be a faulty cable or adapter.
