Hey everyone, my desktop PC shut down unexpectedly while plugged in, and the Ethernet connection failed afterward. Here’s what I’ve attempted: 1) PCI-e Ethernet card 2) Reinstall Windows 3) Uninstall network adapter & update drivers 4) Switch from DHCP to static IP 5) Used diagnostic tools – Ethernet didn’t show a valid IP (link provided) 6) Restarted PC and router 7) Inspected cables, tested different ports on the router 8) Ran commands like dnsflush, release, renew but encountered an error during ipconfig /renew (link given) My motherboard is Asus Prime B450-PLUS and the adapter is a Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller. I’m not sure what to try next; right now I’m connecting my phone via USB to Wi-Fi.

Looks like a router issue. The NIC can't pick up a DHCP-supplied address.

Have you checked if resetting your router has resolved the issue?
