Recently one of my ports stopped working, but after some troubleshooting with my ISP and a bit of work, it finally came back online. About a day later, when I checked via the router, it didn’t connect to Linux_ anymore. Changing the port on the router fixed the issue, but two other computers still couldn’t reach it.

The connections appear to vary on the side of the router. You seem to think one port is functioning while others are not—sometimes it works, sometimes it fails, and sometimes it seems to be working inconsistently.

they look identical but I'm not sure. It seems to function only on my Windows PC. Other Windows systems don't work because they can't detect the Ethernet cable, and it also doesn't work on my Linux machine (dual boot setup).

I clarified whether the ports can be set up separately on the router. If adjustments were made, let me know; otherwise, it likely indicates a hardware issue with the router.

they aren't, the IP and DNS are set and I looked at the port settings but found nothing. Still, it seems like a hardware issue even though I'm sending through that port.

Updated the configuration to switch from full to half duplex. Even my ISP didn’t understand, but the connection now shows its real speed when I run at half duplex. The port seems limited for full duplex, but the adapter settings helped keep things stable. Windows managed to handle it despite the changes. I still don’t fully grasp how it all worked.
