Ethernet cable functions properly in the router yet fails in the modem.
I just moved into a new apartment and the internet/fiber setup is handled by someone other than my ISP. I reached out to the developer who manages the solutions in my building—they were the ones I spoke to. They mentioned that my device only sends three operations even though it has four ports. I don’t know how well they understand the issue, but it seems to be working at least. Maybe I should ask my actual ISP about this, since they’re not involved with the devices in my home, though I’m not sure if that’s correct.
