Over the past year my NAT setup was very strict for all my games, including the one I’m playing now—For Honor. My connection stayed strict, and I attempted port forwarding but it didn’t work. I also reached out to Ubisoft without getting a reply. I’m really hoping you can assist me.

If you have a modem then a router chances are your modem could be a modem/router in which case you will have to change the modem config so it also port forwards.

Verify if your modem/router supports placing a device in DMZ, then configure your console's IP address to DMZ. If this isn't possible, you're likely experiencing Carrier-grade NAT (CGNAT), and no further action can be taken.

Your router connects to a modem or a similar device. Most folks refer to these as modems. If you have one, there might be a setup interface, but it’s probably restricted by your internet service provider.

How did you link it to another compartment, like a phone socket or something similar?

The ISP router uses a Cat 6 cable connecting to the WAN of the Asus router, and then to your PC. There seems to be an error in how you mentioned your previous message.
