System details TUFx570 plus Wi-Fi Ryzen 7 5800X 32 GB Crucial Ballistix RAM 3600GHz RTX 2080 Ventus 8GB Samsung 970 EVO M.2 Corsair AIO 360mm h150i Elite 9 QL 120 Corsair fans Corsair RM850x I’m facing a problem with the software from the Crucial Ballistix site. It installs fine but when I click to launch nothing appears on the screen. I’ve heard it might be due to another program interfering... possibly Armory Crate controlling the RAM RGB. My main goal is to make sure the lighting changes with Crucial, so I’m checking drivers and updating them. The BIOS indicates the RAM is running at 2666GHz, which is much lower than expected. Should I try adjusting it? Or should I leave it as is? How can I get the Crucial software to function properly? Thanks.
The software from Crucial is primarily focused on RGB control rather than firmware updates. To achieve the memory's 3600Mhz performance, enter your BIOS settings and enable DOCP, which appears as a dropdown option on the main screen. After activating DOCP, save your changes and close the BIOS without touching the PC for a while. It may require a few restarts to stabilize the settings and complete the testing process. Have you tried enabling DOCP before?
This is awesome, this is my first solo build so i am still navigating bios updates and all that stuff.....this is extremely helpful in my learning of the ins and outs. thanks so much i will definitely boot to the bios and see what that setting is at
