I received a Series X with a faulty HDMI port and no hard drive. I swapped the HDMI and 12 pads, assuming it would work without the drive (since the Series X Digital Edition doesn’t require one). After connecting and completing the required console update, I encountered an error indicating no disk drive or disk drive issue. Could adding a different Series X’s drive help finish the update? It should be recognized as a disk drive and usable. I just need the console to function properly. Thanks!
