the issue started with BSODs, machine check exceptions, and memory management warnings while running BFV. initially, I adjusted my VCCSA and VCCIO voltages to 1v each, which resolved the problem. however, over two days the VCCSA voltage increased after each boot—first 1.108v, then 1.120v, followed by 1.128v, 1.14v, and now 1.17v. when I set it to 1V flat in BIOS, the voltage fluctuated between 1.17v and a few millivolts higher each time. after flashing the BIOS and clearing CMOS, it worked briefly until rebooting twice, then the voltage dropped back to 1.128v and later spiked again to 1.168v. this is on a Z390 Extreme4 system.

You probably set a specific value in the BIOS and then confirmed it by reading that number.

It's listed as 1.11V in the manual, but it keeps increasing rapidly—currently around 1.21V.

I can see it directly in HWINFO64. About 16 million frames every five minutes.

The original voltage configurations on the ASRock boards were just silly, I’d update the BIOS and check if it works better, 1.6V is ridiculous.
