I recently changed from an EVGA 1650 Super to an AsRock 6650XT. I followed all the steps mentioned on the site about transitioning from NVIDIA to AMD graphics before installing the new card. When I first powered on my PC, the VGA light lit up on the motherboard and I thought about performing a CMOS reset on my MSI B550 gaming edge Wi-Fi. After that, the same happened, but after roughly five minutes the system would load and stay on the MSI EDGE startup screen with the buffering logo at the bottom. It remained there for another five minutes before finally booting to the Windows lock screen. This behavior was unusual, so I wanted to hear what others thought. Was this normal or did a component fail in my setup? I have photos of the system after the CMOS reset if you’d like.
