I have a B550 E rog strix and I tried turning on TPM for Windows 11, but I encountered a 9E error. I’m not sure why my CPU is AMD or if I accidentally enabled something called FTM. I just did it to activate TPM.

9E is a special code, it has no meaning for you. Reset CMOS and attempt to submit the system.

Does it indicate your PC is functioning properly? I wasn’t sure about the reserved code part, could you clarify more?

What you're facing is a TPM-related issue on Windows 11. The error might be preventing the installation or activation of the TPM module. Try checking your device settings, ensuring the TPM is enabled in BIOS/UEFI, and verifying that the correct driver is installed. If problems persist, contact Microsoft support for further assistance.

Check if the TPM chip is present on the board. Without it, TPM 2.0 activation isn't possible.

You're unsure about the installation status. You can check by running a command or looking for related files.

The manual seems like a good starting point. It likely contains helpful details for TPM.
