Thank you for your input; unfortunately, even after testing all options, I haven't found a resolution. It seems the problem might be hardware-related, which is disappointing. Please feel free to remove this thread if you'd like. I'm still puzzled—working normally last night but no sound output at all, everything else functioning correctly. Any assistance or suggestions would be really helpful. Edited January 27, 2023 by NYM117

The output device in Windows is changed, and all your audio devices appear in the Sound settings under Control Panel.

The connection is established, but it doesn’t specify the audio device being used.

All your audio equipment is listed in the settings. I've checked every type of output—Bluetooth headphones, aux speakers, earphones via front and rear ports—but nothing is working.

Tried multiple aux devices in front and back ports + bluetooth speakers and headphones ect. All register and seem to appear normally, however no sound.

Checking the Windows version in the header. Right-click the sound icon in the taskbar and choose Sound settings. Pick your device, then tap the sound adjuster on the taskbar. To test the audio.

Attempted both methods, but clicking 'test' in settings yields no result. In the sound panel, it shows 'Failed to play test tone.' (per screenshot). Bye
