I reinstalled Windows 11 yesterday (a fresh setup, removed apps, preserved files). Earlier, I had configured with a Microsoft account, ensuring all documents synced to OneDrive. I chose to keep everything on the local drive. This time, opting for a local account instead, I attempted to transfer files from the old OneDrive location to my personal folders. But Windows blocks this action—my error message reads "The Cloud File provider is not running." Do I really need these files if I can’t access them? Are there ways to move them without using my Microsoft account, or should I download them manually from OneDrive or restore from backup?
