Error screen appears on a fresh computer system
Observing the situation further, it appears the issue is simply documenting the 'unclean reboot.' Noticing the event viewer writing to the second device causes events to occur rapidly. A previous example of a similar 'Nvidia Display Driver' error would help pinpoint the cause.
Lol, okay. The Page Fault in Non Paged Area might mean something completely different. When you're back in Windows, go back to the Event Viewer and check again. This time the issues should appear at the top. You'll still have to scroll a bit since it records everything.
I can help clarify that request. Expanding on the error event 6008 at 13:02:24 would involve providing more context or details about what occurred during that time. Taking a picture of the error event isn’t possible here, but I can describe it in detail if needed. Let me know how you'd like to proceed!
Yeh, another bit of useless info. While the crashing could be a problem with your hardware, I would now suggest you reinstall Windows. This should at least eliminate a software problem. Best way of doing this is to create a bootable USB install media. If you Google 'Windows USB Tool' it will take you a Microsoft Website and download a small program that will quickly scan your PC to determine what version of Windows is currently installed and activated then download the correct version to the USB stick. You can keep the stick plugged in, restart your PC and making sure it boots from USB first then following the install Wizard. Just make sure you DON'T do an upgrade or repair. I think you select 'custom' install. When you get to selecting the destination / drive where you want to install Windows to, highlight each partition on the displayed disk (Probably disk 0) and delete everything (There should be 3 or 4 entries). You should be left with a single drive and a single 'unpartitioned' space. Click next and keep following the steps. If asked about a 'Key' unless you have it ready (sticker on the PC) then you can usually ignore this and select 'i dont have one'. As Microsoft usually link your Windows activation to your Microsoft account, when you log in for the first time, Windows activates automatically even without a key. You should also note that this procedure will delete EVERYTHING so make sure your files are all backed up to the cloud or on an external drive. Once your back into Windows, you might need to update some drivers. If you on an Intel CPU, you won't need to do anything but if you have a newer X3D AMD then you'll need the latest chipset drivers from their website. Windows is pretty good and getting the bulk of your hardware off the ground after a fresh install but its not uncommon for your Wireless card to require drivers so make sure you have them to hand or make sure your PC is hard wired to your router. Your GPU drivers will also require updating before you go gaming. Windows will install basic AMD / Nvidia drivers but they'll be minimal / old. Let me know how you get on. If you are still getting Crashes then we're into diagnosing a hardware fault or compatibility issue.
I faced a comparable issue with BSOD on a new laptop. The advice I received was to follow Chris's instructions closely. After performing a fresh Windows installation and ensuring all updates completed successfully, proceed by downloading the Display Driver Uninstaller (extract it) and the latest GPU driver from NVIDIA or AMD. Once both are ready, disconnect from the internet and carry out these steps: 1. Open Windows + R, type msconfig and press Enter. 2. Navigate to the Boot tab and enable "Safe boot." Confirm by selecting yes when prompted. 3. Run DDU, choose your GPU and select it (AMD or NVIDIA based on your setup). 4. Go back to step one but skip the safe boot option and exit without restarting. 5. Choose clean and then restart the PC. After rebooting, install the downloaded driver and your issue should resolve.
Review the dump files instead of making assumptions. Navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump and verify the presence of any minidump files. If found, return to the Windows directory and transfer the entire Minidump folder to the Downloads folder (use your desktop if needed). Compress the copied folder and include it in a post. Please adhere strictly to the guidelines, as Windows does not permit file manipulation in this area.
I restored Windows, and everything appears to function properly at the moment. I'll keep an eye out for any unusual issues.
