Is there anyone familiar with the issue? My new PC works perfectly but can't access XMP profiles or manual RAM locking. After saving and exiting BIOS, it tries to boot again but keeps looping back due to a failure.

Ram should be placed in slots A2 and B2. You can adjust frequency, voltage, and timing manually if XMP isn't functioning, unless the RAM is extremely fast. This also depends on the specific CPU model you have. I only recall the Z790P Prime Z790-v motherboard supports up to 7200MHz RAM (OC).

I haven’t refreshed the bios yet; I’m not sure how to do it and I’ve faced some issues lately that are making me hesitant. I own a Z790 Wi-Fi and an i9 processor.

I think my tan placement is off—should be A1 and B1. My RAM is 5200 and I have an i9 CPU.

For future planning, most motherboards indicate which slots should be filled first
