When attempting to start Just Cause 2 on Windows 10, the application opens in a window that remains blank and then fails. The error logs indicate it tried to access or modify a memory location it doesn’t have permission for, as shown in the dump file. This includes references to various DLLs and system files pointing to specific versions of the game and its dependencies.

I encountered a problem. The system would crash, so I restored everything from Windows 7 and reinstalled it. Hope this helps? You might want to try reinstalling again.

I've also reinstalled JC2 and run it without mods.

Windows seems to have encountered an issue. The best approach would be to remove it fully using a tool that deletes residual files (like GeekUninstaller) and then fix registry errors (I use CCleaner for that). After that, attempt to reinstall the game. P.S.: If you run GeekUninstaller before deleting temporary files, double-check what you're removing to avoid problems. I once uninstalled an Adobe program and it incorrectly flagged other Adobe apps, causing significant trouble because I hadn't verified the deletions.
