I need some advice here. My PC specs are pretty standard: AsRock B450M Steel Legend, Ryzen 3500, Corsair Vengeance LPX 8x2 at 3200MHz RAM, GTX 1660 Super, NVMe 256GB SSD, and a WD Blue 1TB drive. For about a month after setup, everything worked fine until I encountered some strange problems. There were random BSODs and frequent reboots, especially with the NVMe drive. I took it to RMA. My main concern was that the RAM seemed unstable—especially since I had overclocked it to 3400MHz. I thought that might be causing the issues, so I downclocked it but the problem persisted. I tried reinstalling Windows, swapping out the power supply, a new GPU, and even replacing the RAM stick in every slot, but nothing helped. I consulted others about possible memory controller or motherboard issues, but they all pointed to RAM problems. Later, I checked the memory quality list on the motherboard and realized my specific RAM model wasn’t listed. It’s been running smoothly for a month now. I can’t get it back, so I’m considering selling it. Another thing that worries me is whether the processor itself might be the culprit. I’ve heard about compatibility issues with Ryzen and B450 boards, but I never imagined it would be this bad. Have you had similar experiences? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
