Hi, I'm working on connecting a SATA SSD to a H270 gaming pro carbon. Before, a single M.2 drive worked as a backup. Now, trying to boot from USB with the SSD shows an M2 Genie error and asks for UEFI setup. In Settings/Advanced/Integrated Peripherals, it keeps forcing SATA mode as RAID. I can't find an option for Optane here, and RST PCIe storage remapping is disabled. Even after resetting the BIOS, the error persists. In EZ mode it says M2 Genie is off. I'm unsure what to do next, and most guides suggest using a second M.2 or a new drive. Thanks for your help.

The problem is unique to Bios version 7A64v27 downgrading to 7A64v26, which appears to fix the issue.
