Hi everyone, I own an Aorus z590 Master motherboard, an Asus Tuf gaming GeForce RXT 3080 v2 OC, a G Skill Rip Jaws v series black 64 GB (4x16 GB), and an Intel Core i9-11900K with a 2TB sn850 SSD. When the system powers on from off, Windows displays code A0, which indicates everything is functioning properly. Over a period of 1 to 20 minutes, the code shifts to 25. I researched it and found that this issue is usually related to P/S2 devices in incorrect ports, a faulty PS/2 port or device, a defective graphics card, or a bad video card slot. I’ve unplugged the GPU, RAM, and everything else except the CPU, which resolved the problem for about a week. The computer remains operational; it only occasionally shows strange behavior with Google Chrome—sometimes it appears see-through at around 25%, while 0% means no Chrome is visible at all and 100% means the desktop isn’t displayed. This happens infrequently. Besides that, I can play games, watch TV, or stream YouTube without issues. The A3 code appears occasionally too, but according to the manual it’s not a critical issue and most sources suggest it’s not a cause for concern. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
A3 codes usually connect to the boot order and can be fixed by setting the correct drive as the first boot option in BIOS. Most motherboards automatically try different drives until they find the right one. For Gigabyte boards with error code 25, it’s often a memory problem that appears during startup. Some users reported strange 25 errors but resolved them by checking if RGB software was causing the issue. If you have any Gigabyte desktop applications, ensure they’re updated or remove them entirely. I’ve been using Gigabyte boards for more than two decades, and since their software is often unstable, I rarely install anything from them. All necessary settings are in the BIOS—no need to rely on extra Gigabyte tools.
