Hello. Your Lenovo Legion Y720 runs with a GTX 1060, i7-7700HQ and Windows 10. You experience frequent BSODs during boot or after entering safe mode, along with a power state failure warning and the 1060 being disabled in Device Manager (code 43). You're considering switching to Ubuntu and want to know if the issue persists and possible solutions. The provided DLL files may be relevant for troubleshooting.

Have you attempted a fresh installation or system recovery of Win10 first? If the problem persists, it likely isn't related to the OS—hardware issues should be addressed by repairing the motherboard (swapping the RAM or GPU).

I first attempted a reset while retaining personal files, but encountered a BSOD around 90% of the installation. Eventually, I switched to the latest Ubuntu version, which functioned properly. The system failed to recognize the 1060 graphics card. I plan to wait until after my finals before taking it to a repair center.
