Same! I've never used a USB port before. It caught me off guard and made me nervous. I'm concerned it might not work consistently. I don't want anything to break, particularly my Blue Yeti mic.

I think if you let Dell know the camera caught fire or even started smoking with a strong smell and sparks, they’d probably call you in.
If you take that approach, they’ll definitely want to wipe your OS.
But since you’re a one-PC user, you really need a backup—what I see is Dell will send you a service ticket, and a technician will bring the laptop in for repair.

In your situation, two points come to mind. Consider swapping the motherboard coin size battery and the second one, and disable fast boot in BIOS.
It seems that when a desktop PC enters hibernate and loses wall power, it often needs several power cycles to recover from the unstable hibernate state affected by the power drop.
In my experience, putting the PC in sleep mode during such events isn’t a major issue.
Try it out with fast boot turned off and let us know if you need to explore further fixes.

Searching online for guidance.
To disable fast boot in BIOS, follow these actions:
Open BIOS settings: Depending on your machine and brand, press a key during startup like F2, F10, or Del.
Locate the feature: Search for Fast Boot, Quick Boot, or a similar option, typically under Boot or Advanced settings.
Adjust the configuration: Use arrow keys and Enter to turn off the setting.
Save and close: Confirm your changes and exit the BIOS interface.
If unavailable, your system may lack fast boot support or it could be restricted. Consider updating your BIOS or visiting your manufacturer’s site for detailed steps.

Laptops can be frustrating, yet occasionally you find a solution that works without needing a full replacement. You can upload your model to YouTube, where someone might have a video showing how to achieve the same result.

Whoa....there are two users on this same discussion trying to get help. Even though it seems like a similar issue, we can't really assist both people in the same thread.
@dsalienissue
I kindly recommend creating your own thread and moving this one so we can properly support the original poster. It's considered poor etiquette to take over someone else's thread in this way.
I have some ideas but for @jenvander, the person who started it, I'll wait until @dsalienissue begins their own thread.
