I just changed all the parts into a new case. I tried booting it and the motherboard is showing a graphics issue, but it’s not happening. I’ve tested everything multiple times—plugs are connected, I removed the AIO and reinserted the CPU. Help please! The PC stops working and the fans spin while the RGB lights come on. Specs: Intel Core i7 8700K, ROG Maximus XI, Wi-Fi, NVIDIA Quadro P4000, 64GB RAM (4x16), Samsung 1TB SSD, Corsair Carbide SSD, Evga 750BQ, PSU, H80i.
The motherboard indicates a graphics issue through specific error codes or messages in the BIOS, which may appear as text or symbols. You can check the BIOS settings or consult the motherboard manual for details. If no such display exists, the problem might be related to hardware faults or driver issues.
Your monitor doesn't show anything, so the BIOS isn't active. It's likely a white LED indicating VGA compatibility with ASUS boards. You're running integrated graphics because you lack a display port cable. Your graphics card supports 4xDPI.
It seems the LED can show up even when the CPU isn't working properly, possibly because it checks if the CPU can send video before reaching the GPU. If your CPU isn't installed correctly, that might be causing the problem. Try connecting your screen to the motherboard's video output. Have you verified that the graphics card is firmly installed without any debris in the connectors? Is the PSU connected to the GPU? Did you place the graphics card in the right PCIe slot?
I verified my CPU for bent pins or incorrect orientation. I’m not sure it’s the CPU itself, and everything else seems to function correctly. My screen is connected via HDMI on the motherboard, and my PSU is fully modular with all power connections secure. The GPU is in the top slot, but it isn’t booting because the display isn’t connected to the GPU—it’s only linked to the motherboard.
With a GPU installed, the built-in HDMI is turned off. If the GPU isn't functioning, detach it and rely on the integrated graphics. When the VGA Debug light appears on the motherboard, it indicates a problem with your GPU or the motherboard's integrated graphics.
