Error occurred with BIOS settings.
Hello. My MSI B30 Pro VDH (https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/B350M-PRO-VDH.html) isn’t responding properly. I can’t use the BIOS normally. I’ve tried repeatedly pressing the keys during boot, but it doesn’t work. The only way to access it is through Windows Advanced Settings and booting in UEFI, yet the BIOS becomes corrupted. I can’t press Enter or Esc, and the screen goes black with all my devices shutting down. I also can’t enter any clock settings on RAM because they’re not accessible there, causing the same shutdown issue. It’s really frustrating. Also, I’ve noticed occasional crashes while playing games like Ark Survival Evolved—maybe related?
Check all memory modules in the initial slot beside the CPU. A faulty memory stick may lead to problems similar to what you're facing. Reset the CMOS each time and ensure it's fresh before starting.
Ah. I just added another 8 gigabytes of RAM. Could it be the reason I have a 2x4 from one maker and another from a different one?
