I attempted to install a .exe file and encountered the "ShellExecuteEx Failed; code 2" error. After checking, it appears all files are executable. When trying to run with admin privileges I received "Windows cannot find '_______'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again". I also faced issues opening Task Manager, Regedit, running as administrator, restoring system, managing devices, and starting in safe mode. The folder named IObit could not be deleted. This is Windows 10 64bit. I ran virus scans with no results, used CCleaner for registry fixes, and need assistance.

what is the precise purpose of what you're attempting to set up? can you fix the operating system using installation media? continue using iobit and cleaner?

error code 2 just mean the file was not found.
sounds like script bug. google iobit uninstaller to delete the iobit directory

I was attempting to install Revo to remove IObit. I believe the missing file location is only part of the issue, and I also can't perform certain steps like opening Task Manager, Regedit, running Command Prompt as admin, restoring system, or accessing Device Manager.

Is this an updated version of iobit that could harm your system?
