Windows 10 - 64 bit (Latest update) Hello, I just reinstalled EarTrumpet and encountered this issue when trying to play a video file. The error appeared regardless of the format I used—MP4, MKV, AVI. Previous versions of EarTrumpet didn’t have this problem. I also tried disabling the security check in the box under ‘Allow applications to take exclusive control’ during setup, but that only fixed the video issue and not other audio problems like static from Chrome or cable output. Updating my graphics drivers didn’t help either. Restarting Windows Audio services now allows playback, though it still fails after each restart until I manually restart the PC.
