I completed my savings and chose to enhance my CPU, motherboard, and RAM. Details: MSI PRO Z790-P WIFI (formerly Gigabyte Z390 Auros Pro), i7-13700KF (previously i9-9900K), 2x16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR5 6000MHz (previously 4x8GB Corsair Vengeance LX DDR4 3200MHz), Silverstone 850W 80 Plus Gold, Gigabyte RTX 3080 Eagle OC 10G. The Issue: After installation and connection, the motherboard LED lights white, indicating no GPU detected per the manual. Since it's an i7 chip without integrated graphics, I can't even boot BIOS without a GPU. What I attempted: Replaced the GPU in both slots multiple times, double-checked connections, re-plugged power cables, and tried the second 8-pin connectors on both cables. Also tested a GTX 1080 Ti in both slots but faced the same problem. Is there an issue with the PCIe slot?

It seems the motherboard might be damaged. If you purchased it from a retailer like Amazon, they may issue a refund and you could keep the device. For purchases from sites such as eBay, utilize their purchase protection to recover your funds. If the protection period has ended, contact the seller for the original receipt to initiate a return.
