I've just finished assembling the system. On first start-up there was no response—no fan activity, no speaker beeps, and the monitor didn’t display anything. The BIOS isn’t loading and both the keyboard and mouse are responding now. I’ve tried booting without RAM, swapped the two sticks, used only one stick, but nothing worked. I reset the CMOS, attempted a boot without GPU or RAM, yet no life signs appeared. I’m really looking for advice and hope I don’t need to replace parts every day after buying new ones.

Are you sure your Mobo Ryzen 5000 is up to date? Usually the B450 requires a BIOS update. If you're uncertain, check the packaging.

The motherboard needs BIOS version F62 to start using that CPU, as explained in the referenced Gigabyte guide.

You should start by checking the manual for your specific build. If you can't access the BIOS, look for alternative ways to adjust settings or use a different method to make changes. Don’t worry—most builds have simpler steps once you find the right guide.

You must have a processor that matches your existing BIOS release (see package) or have an individual ready to share one.

if there's none of that, I think you can ask AMD for a loan cpu so that you can update the bios then return it to them or the store(s). Edited July 17, 2022 by GorujoCY

Visit your nearby electronics store and request the latest BIOS information. You'll need to make the payment. Ask your acquaintances for a compatible processor—perhaps they own one. Every machine from the Ryzen 3000 lineup should be supported.
