I’m starting this build for the first time. When I power on, the fans start and the screen lights up, but nothing appears. I have an MSI B450M PRO M2 Max and the EZ debug indicator shows a bright white light for the CPU. From my research, that suggests the CPU isn’t being detected. I’ve reinserted it, double-checked its orientation, and confirmed the pins are correctly placed—still nothing happens. Any advice? - Ryzen 5 3400G, MSI B450M PRO M2 Max (ready for a Ryzen 3000 desktop)

Confirm the tiny four-pin CPU power cord is connected (typically top left on the motherboard).

Take it out from the static bag. Only the interior is safe from static electricity; the exterior has a lot of it. Use just the box.

You attempted to update the BIOS as well. Please verify the SN for your BIOS. If correct, you can skip the initial three digits.
