Hi everyone, I've replaced all AMD and Realtek drivers myself and reinstalled them. I ran both SFC and DISM checks – everything looks clean. I also performed a memory diagnostic and found nothing unusual. A CHKDSK scan got stuck at 100% repair but completed without errors. I attached my system details; any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks for the OS support – W11 x64.
Original OS: Was it originally installed on Windows 10 Pro? Is this an OEM version (installed by manufacturer) or a full retail purchase?
Regarding hardware:
- Age of system: About 3 years
- OS installation age: Roughly 3 years ago
- Have you reinstalled the operating system?
- CPU model: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X (8 cores)
- Video card: AMD RX 6700XT
- Motherboard: ROG STRIX X570-E (gaming), if it's not a laptop, also ROG STRIX X570-E GAMING power supply
- Brand & wattage: Not specified (laptop or desktop)
- Desktop dump file: Crash time reported; no further details provided
Power supply:
- Corsair RM850X (desktop or laptop?) – please confirm
Please let me know the exact model of your power supply if applicable.
Please upload the dump files. Memory Management raises a serious warning about RAM usage. Follow these steps: Check for existing dump files in C:\Windows\Minidump. If found, move the Minidump folder to your Downloads folder (or desktop if needed). Compress the new folder and send it via email. Adhere strictly to the instructions—Windows doesn’t allow changes in this directory.
RAM appears to be the issue. Operate the machine normally with one stick at a time since memory testers aren't very accurate with DDR4 and newer versions. If only one stick triggers crashes, it's likely a faulty stick. When both cause problems individually, the CPU probably needs investigation. Faulty 3000 series Ryzen CPUs often mimic RAM behavior for an unclear reason.
