There are no USB drives connected. I looked on Reddit and they suggested checking this.

Ensure that third-party VSS providers are functioning correctly.
To verify the proper operation of third-party VSS providers:
Launch an elevated Command Prompt. From Start, select All Programs, then Accessories, right-click Command Prompt and choose Run as administrator.
Execute the command: vssadmin list providers.
For each listed provider, run the vssadmin create shadow command to generate a shadow copy of the relevant volume.
However, in the command prompt it only displays Microsoft software shadow copy providers.
Curious, I tried listing shadows and successfully created a shadow for one volume using its old desktop name, while the other was updated as new.
Is it advisable to remove the old volume shadow after reinstalling Windows?
I plan to explore further on another site.
I suspect the problem isn’t with the drives themselves, since the Event Viewer only reports volume shadow issues. The drives have worked without errors, though I’m not certain it’s the root cause.
The only non-error warning comes from a provider called IntelMEProv, registered in the Windows Management Instrumentation namespace under root\Intel_ME. This account is privileged and could lead to security risks if it doesn’t properly impersonate user requests. It likely refers to the local account.
I made sure to keep the original meaning and tone while adjusting the phrasing.
Occasionally, certain window issues resolve on their own. For some time, I experienced Explorer freezing during shutdowns, but it eventually stopped occurring. My Office account also had similar problems for a few months before Microsoft resolved them. These situations are comparable to internet connection issues—sometimes the root cause is beyond your control, and you must wait for others to address it.
