Error installing Windows 10 due to incorrect file size.
I repeatedly encounter the same error about incorrect file size during the installation of Windows 10 onto an empty hard drive. I have a USB drive that I previously used to install multiple versions of Windows 10 via the media selection tool from Microsoft. None of these attempts succeeded. The computer is set as the first boot device, and I own another hard drive with pirated Windows 10 that I don’t want to use. Could someone assist me in resolving this issue and obtaining a clean installation?
I fixed the problem by copying my hard drive from another machine. I’m just grateful to myself for doing it. The Cavalry hard drive duplicator I had on hand during my PS2 modding sessions also helped.
