Hey there! Just wrapped up assembling my PC and I'm seeing issues with the LED indicators for the CPU and RAM. The components look like they're from a Ryzen 5 7600X Mobo MSI Pro B650M-P, with 32GB DDR5 5600MHz RAM and a Corsair RM850e NVMe 1TB SSD. It's possible the motherboard needs a BIOS update—even after reconnecting all cables it still doesn't work.

BIOS updates for the B650 often improve RAM support and overall stability, making it worthwhile to consider an update. Start by testing one RAM stick at a time to check functionality. DDR5 may require a longer boot time initially on a new system using AM5 architecture. An outdated or launch BIOS can sometimes delay startup as long as six minutes.

Sure, take your time for about ten minutes. If it doesn’t work, we’ll update the BIOS using the flashback button and let you know the result.

The bios was updated properly, but the issue persists with cpu and ram still active.

Use just one RAM stick on the board. If it fails, exchange it with the other stick and attempt again.

It seems like the RAM might be the issue, possibly one faulty stick.

Aha! The issue might stem from a bad RAM module or a defective slot on the motherboard. You could test the other two slots on the motherboard with both RAM sticks if you haven’t already. As noted, it may take some time before it boots up with DDR5.
