Error in video memory management during upgrade of Windows 11 for Razer Blade 15 Advanced Model 2021
Error in video memory management during upgrade of Windows 11 for Razer Blade 15 Advanced Model 2021
After setting up Windows 11 on my 2021 Razer Blade 15 Advanced with an Nvidia RTX3070 mobile GPU, I've faced blue screens displaying the 'Video Memory Management Internal' message and a Kernel Power source issue in the event viewer, even when the system is idle. Additionally, the fans are running loudly without any major tasks being performed. I've tried various fixes online, including reinstalling graphics drivers, cleaning the registry with CMD, and formatting the laptop, but the problem continues. I'm struggling to identify a consistent pattern for when it occurs. Below, I've shared the minidump files of the most recent error: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1iikD4WH...sp=sharing. I've analyzed all the minidumb files using windbg and believe the issue may be related to: FAILURE_BUCKET_ID: 0x10e_2d_dxgmms2!VIDMM_PAGE_TABLE_BASE::GetCpuVisibleAddress. Any suggestions on how to resolve it? Thanks, Andrea
Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
Checking if your laptop is running the newest BIOS version would be a good first step.
I searched for the specifications and found this link:

It looks like you're using something similar.
Are you using a single physical drive? If yes, does it have multiple partitions? If not, consider deleting the internal drive, backing up essential data from the OS drive, and then removing all partitions before reinstalling Windows 11 offline.
Make sure to install all required drivers with the latest version in an elevated command—right-click the installer and select Run as Administrator. This should be done after completing the offline installation.
Hi Lutfij,
Thank you for your response!
Yes, it is the Razer Blade 15 Advanced model rz09-0367x and I have two NVMe drives—one as the main and another for data.
Could you share the complete link to the forum thread? It looks like it’s missing some details.
Thanks again,
Andrea
