Error in kernel power, memory tests appear faulty…
I was testing the system today with many windows open, which might have caused high stress on the PC. It restarted completely without any BSOD, but the Windows Event Viewer reported a critical kernel power error. My intuition is that my SeaSonic Focus 750W isn’t handling the 5900x/3080 combo well. Running MemTest shows around 150 errors so far. Should I check the BIOS for updates, try another run, or consider replacing the RAM and upgrading the PSU? It’s hard to tell without more testing.
I tried running memtest again after installing the new PSU. I noticed some similar issues reported by others under heavy usage. After updating the BIOS slightly, I’ll check the results to confirm.
