I purchased my system three months ago: a 5900x Asus ROG 3080 V2 Trident Z Royal 32GB with 3200MHz, 980 Pro 2TB SSD, running Windows 10 Pro for Workstations. In the initial days I upgraded everything to the newest release (except BIOS), even firmware 980. Occasionally updating firmware while using Chrome caused the system to freeze, as if there was no SSD until the BIOS update resolved it. At that point, the power plan was set to Ultimate Performance. Now everything is functioning smoothly except during idle or Chrome usage. All components are now at the latest version. Here’s the full SSD scan by Magician:
