I have an MSI MS 6368 motherboard from 2003 that I got from a coworker. I’m planning to use it for a Windows XP installation, but I’m facing a major issue: the board won’t power on. I’m connected to a non-modular EVGA 600W PSU via a 20-pin ATX port and using an adapter for a SATA drive connected to IDE 1 on the board. The CPU fan, PSU fan, and case fan are all working, yet there’s no display or BIOS activation. I’ve tried re-seating the processor, rearranging RAM, and even removing all RAM to check for codes, but nothing has happened. What should I do next?

Consider using a fresh CMOS battery, as this has led to problems before on older computers.

What processor are you running? If it had been sitting there a while, the battery in the CMOS cell might be gone. CR2032

Celeron lacks precise details, yet its socket 370 is confirmed. The CMOS chip has been swapped more than once, but no replacement has been made.
