Hi everyone,

I'm experiencing an nvlddmkm.sys error along with VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE (Event IDs 116 and 117). These issues occur both when the system is idle and during load situations such as gaming, OCCT tests, or when using Chrome. The event viewer displays the nvlddmkm.sys error continuously after the monitor loses signal. After examining dump files, I found VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE for both IDs 116 and 117. Once the monitor signal drops, the only solution is to restart the PC. However, after a restart, I see a white LED on the motherboard indicating either no GPU or no monitor. I've tested with two different monitors, but the problem persists. Occasionally, after random restarts, the system boots up again. Before the signal loss on the monitor, the screen flickers and sometimes shows colorful artifacts.

I've tried numerous solutions including updating drivers, performing a fresh Windows install, updating BIOS, adjusting GPU settings, and modifying TDR register values. I've also checked my components with separate service centers (motherboard, GPU, RAM, PSU), but they confirmed everything is fine.

I've installed the latest versions of NVIDIA drivers, Windows, BIOS, and chipset drivers. If anyone has any advice or solutions, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
W11 fresh install
Where did you get the installer for the OS? It's recommended to install the OS offline first, then manually add all platform-specific drivers via an elevated command—right-click the installer and select Run as Administrator.
BIOS update
For the motherboard? Did you reset the CMOS after confirming the BIOS was successfully updated to the latest version?
Before the monitor loses signal, the screen flickers, and sometimes I see colorful artifacts on the display.
Check the connection between your PSU and GPU to ensure they are securely seated. Consider using a higher wattage power supply and powering your rig with it. Does the GPU droop or sag in your setup?
Details about your case? Model number? Fan count? Fan orientation?

Thanks for the reply,
W11 fresh Install
: Actually I am installing the W11 by using USB stick method. I have licenced image of the W11. I am connected to internet by using WIFI not Ethernet cable. (While installing W11, I am offline) Because of that while I am installing the Windows, I am not installing any driver or anything else. I transport motherboard WIFI driver from another computer by using USB. Then I install WIFI driver. Then in the end I let the Windows Update do the job. I did not get "Right click installer ->Run as Admin" There is no installer of the Windows, I am using image of the Windows.
BIOS update:
Yes for the motherboard, I installed latest BIOS which is 2703 currently. No I did not clear the CMOS. If I get right you mean, after BIOS update should I remove BIOS battery then insert or do the short circuit trick in the motherboard that iss upported? Can you open this one.
Before the losing the signal in Monitor, screen is flickering, sometimes I get colorful artifacts on the screen.:
Actaully, 5 months ago (errors were still there) I suspected about the PSU and I sent the PSU to service and they told me that one of the PCIE cable was melted and they replaced. I looked the cable actually it was true it is replaced. Also I changed and inserted PCIE power cables so many times to GPU and PSU. But no luck.
For the SAG and Drop case, 1 week ago, I decided to use my case horizontally not vertically and (for GPU Sag) and I reinserted my GPU to the motherboard. I had no issue for 3 days, but after that I again enacounterd these issues. I think I solved the Sagging problem sinve my GPU placed vertically and there is no gravity to pull it from PCIE port.
My case is :
MSI MPG VELOX 100P AIRFLOW 4x120mm
Number of fans in case (Including water cooling (3)) = 7 fans in total.
4 of the fans flows air to outer and other 3 takes fresh air into case. (If you are asking for the temp, I dont think my GPU isat very high temp. If I force it, sometimes it reachec 80C
