Hi there, I’m facing a persistent boot problem with my ASRock X570 Phantom Gaming-ITX/TB3 motherboard. The system keeps failing to start and displays the error "BlInitializeLibrary failed 0xc0000001." This issue started when my PC couldn’t wake from sleep mode. After a hard shutdown by unplugging the power cord, the error began appearing. Here’s what I’ve tried:

- Verified boot sequence in BIOS – operating system SSD is first.
- Restored default BIOS settings.
- Disabled Secure Boot, Fast Boot, and CSM in various combinations.
- Cleared CMOS using the motherboard button.
- Attempted booting from a USB drive; same error occurred.
- Set all other boot options to off except USB, hoping it would work.

Despite these efforts, I still can’t get into Windows 11 from either the SSD or USB. I’m worried something might have gone wrong when I removed the power cord. Could you help me figure out what’s going on?

Resolved with assistance from a supportive PCMR community member. It seems the UEFI boot loader, part of the BIOS, was damaged during the cable removal process, causing the Windows Boot Manager to fail to load correctly. Since USB booting didn’t work, the issue was a BIOS fault. A straightforward re-flash of the BIOS—this specific motherboard supports flashing via USB—resolved it. After updating, everything loaded smoothly.
