I attempted to upgrade Windows today but encountered an error code 0x80070422. The update service is active, yet it isn't functioning properly. Please try restarting your PC or checking for any pending updates again.

you have enough space on C:? At least 20GB? Else you should have on C: a folder called $windows.~BT, you can delete it so it will download the new Win10 again

This update caused a lot of trouble... I had to perform a clean installation of version 1709 on several devices since it failed initially.

I also performed a fresh setup. That’s the only option I see.
