Hello! The update on May 11th didn’t work properly, and now my computer doesn’t recognize any updates. I’ve tried restarting it multiple times and used the troubleshooter several times, but nothing resolved the problem. I’m wondering what steps I should take next to get back to receiving updates.

Prefer setting up a fresh installation using the newest Windows version. You might try deleting faulty updates and emptying the cache, but if issues persist, repairing is slower than starting over.

Consider starting your computer in safe mode, then rename the specified folder: C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution to softwareDistribution.old. After that, reboot it in normal mode and attempt an update again. If this doesn't resolve the issue, use the Windows Update troubleshooter, which is built into the system. Stay tuned for further updates.

It will become quicker for you. Your "one-size-fits-all" solution is simply reinstalling Windows. Those who know how to resolve issues effectively save time later when similar problems arise. @F1PlayBG – do you have a firewall or antivirus with firewall enabled? Have you used any optimization tools like OO ShutUp 10 before? Or other utilities that modify system settings? I’m familiar with a few approaches, but they all require specific details you need to share.

Thank you for waiting. My setup uses the built-in Windows Defender Firewall and I don’t rely on third-party tuning utilities or system configuration changes.
