I've been using the Ubuntu setup for a Samba share and it works on both Windows and macOS, though I can't upload files from those platforms. I've looked at several tutorials but haven't seen any success. It might be connected to the accounts I'm using on both systems. Since I'm in class and working until 5 today, I'll wait for some time to get clearer guidance.

I'll go with a shot if we're doing this without any specifics... The answer is... Permissions. EDIT: either it's a RO share or the users you're linking with lack W access.

It was accurate that the files lacked the proper permissions in Ubuntu for the user connected via Samba.
