Error encountered while attempting to download drivers or AMD Radeon software.
Hi, I noticed the AMD Radeon Software on my laptop isn't opening. I looked up fixes online and found suggestions to uninstall the app and its drivers. After removing them, I tried reinstalling from the official AMD site, but the error persists: "Error 182 – Radeon™ Software Install Detected AMD Graphics Hardware in Your System Configuration That Is Not Supported With This Software Installation." I checked the AMD support page, but I'm unsure what to do next. My CPU is an AMD Ryzen 7 5800H with Radeon Graphics. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
Does the gaming laptop come with a separate graphics card? If yes, you'll need to download and set up the specific drivers for that component. The integrated graphics will automatically use the standard driver provided by Windows (W10) or one already present after installation. In summary, you won't have to worry about the iGPU driver since it isn't a dedicated graphics unit.
