Error encountered while accessing BIOS on ASUS device.
To change from the GPU to the built-in graphics, you usually only need to adjust a few settings. You rarely encounter the need to modify the BIOS just to display a screen.
I made several changes. I removed CMOS, took out my GPU, and saw the ASUS splash screen. I pressed F2, entered BIOS, switched AI Tweaker to Manual, set RAM to 3200, and rebooted. Checked in Task Manager—RAM was correctly set. That worked. Then I put the GPU back in; my Corsair RGB RAM stopped lighting up and the system started responding. After that, I tried the old RAM slots again and everything functioned properly. My girlfriend asked how I fixed it, and I explained by doing it step by step without using any software changes. Computers are tricky. I also disabled fast boot in the ASUS window so I could see the splash screen clearly before it skipped to Windows. Thanks for your help—I've been stuck on this for a week.
