Here’s what occurred:
-Last Sunday, I observed my old CD/DVD drive stopped opening and closing on its own. It required manual ejection. After uninstalling it, I removed the connected cables. I also swapped out one of the case fans because the previous model lacked LED indicators.
-I rebooted my CPU again and everything functioned properly; fans were active, BIOS loaded, and Windows started without issues. Then, my father and I watched a movie when it suddenly froze. I restarted the CPU several times but it didn’t help until it began loading again and showed the error message:
Warning!!! The previous overclocking failed, and the system will revert to its default settings. Press any key to continue..
Press DEL key to enter Setup Menu, F11 to enter Boot Menu
-So I followed the instructions and was taken to the BIOS menu. I selected the defaults, attempted both failsafe and optimized modes (due to frequent random freezes requiring restarts), but the PC still froze unpredictably.
-Last night, I used my PC again. It took about four hours before it froze once more. Restarting it afterward didn’t resolve the issue. I went to sleep and tried restarting this morning; it worked then. After running it for a few hours, it stopped freezing.
Concerns:
1.) My computer began freezing without clear explanation.
2.) I wasn’t informed about overclocking. Although someone suggested BIOS changes, I didn’t make any adjustments. I attempted a hard reset by removing the battery for at least five minutes and reinserting it, but the problem persisted.
3.) I noticed that during a restart attempt, fans were running continuously with steady green and red lights—no audible beeps or signals to monitor.

Restart the BIOS settings -
- Unplug the power cord from the computer.
- Lift off the lid of the enclosure and take out the button cell that is located on the main board for a brief moment.
Reassemble everything and check if it starts up.
