You followed the steps from the video and adjusted settings for SAM support. Now your system is stuck on the VGA light, can’t boot or enter BIOS. Someone might suggest resetting CMOS or checking connections, but since the battery removal didn’t help, you may need to restore original configurations or consult a professional.
Begin by disconnecting the power supply from the wall. After that, remove the CMOS battery. Next, press the power button on the case several times. Then reinsert the battery and connect the PSU back to the wall before testing it. Regarding your problem: Verify you have the most recent BIOS installed. If your operating system is using legacy or CSM mode, it may not boot. Ensure full UEFI support is active—CSM features are disabled. This could necessitate a complete Windows reinstall since switching modes isn't possible without a full restart.
Followed the instructions for the CMOS battery. As I mentioned, it won’t even start into BIOS. No posting occurs. It remains locked on the VGA light on the motherboard, with no video output at all.
Consider removing the GPU and reconnecting it. Have you got a previous model you could use to access BIOS settings?
It started using the other GPU. Disabled "above 4G decoding" and it restarted three times. Then it worked smoothly with the 6600XT. Thanks for the assistance.
