If it's a fast-paced session, you'll see a 75% XP reduction—no bans involved. Just play around in the practice area or a custom game if you're not aiming for high XP.

No, that message isn't about being banned right now.

Crash log recorded. Game instability detected during competitive play. Risk of permanent ban if the issue persists. File reference: Overwatch_36268_Retailx64_enUS_15076_05-09-17_01.08.13_ErrorLog.txt

Did you push your CPU beyond its limits? I faced similar issues with game freezes over the weekend while attempting to boost my CPU from 4.2 to 4.5 GHz. When I ran it at 4.5 GHz and tested it with a 24-hour Prime95 run, I still experienced crashes during Overwatch sessions. Interestingly, increasing the voltage from 1.27V to 1.28V resolved the problem.

Halt competitive play until the issue is resolved. It’s unclear what else to say. I recognize it isn’t your responsibility, but because Blizzard is enforcing penalties for uncontrollable factors, you’ll need to adapt. From the discussions on Battle.net forums, EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION points to outdated or faulty drivers for your sound card or GPU. It’s likely connected to your audio hardware, especially given recent logs mentioning Overwatch voice communication issues.

They definitely require more processing power compared to Overwatch. I'm running at 4.3GHz with a boost of 1.2v.

I attempt to uninstall the Nvidia audio driver, then check the results.
