Over the recent days I've encountered a 'PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR' while trying to visit sites like Reddit or Tumblr. The issue appears on both my PC and mobile devices when using Firefox. I can navigate those websites without problems in other browsers.

I've attempted the fixes mentioned here:
https://appuals.com/pr-end-of-file-error/
However, none resolved the problem. I also renamed the 'cert9.db' file in my profile folder, but that didn't help. Clearing cookies and site data hasn't fixed it either.

Does it seem like an SSL problem might be occurring? Is your system current?

Check if your system clock and timezone settings are accurate. Determine any unique extensions for FF not available in other browsers. See if the issue persists when running FF in a private window.

System time is accurate.
My extensions include Reddit enhancement suite, translate web pages, Tiled tab groups, search by image, and uBlock Origin. However, the issue persists even when using troubleshoot mode.
The problem continues to occur in private windows as well.

You can keep your FF bookmarks. After that, remove FF and install it again. No extensions until you confirm FF is functioning correctly. Then add them back individually, checking each step.
